Why Study in Canada?

Canada is indeed an excellent destination for international students who want to pursue higher education and experience global exposure. Canadian colleges and universities render high-quality education and provide numerous internship and post-study career options.

The desire of millions of applicants worldwide is to be admitted into a Canadian university or institution and receive a study permit. For many overseas students, studying in Canada is an exciting and fulfilling experience.

After deciding on a course of study, you must take entrance deadlines, application processing times, student visa processing times, and English language requirements into account. Canadian colleges and universities provide a range of short-term summer language courses, continuing education options, and exchange programs in addition to BA, MBA, Ph.D., certificate, and diploma programs.

Although many colleges and universities have a lesser intake in May or summer term, January and September each year are when the majority of students are admitted. Most foreign nationals who wish to study in Canada must get a study permit.

To apply for a study permit, you need:

  • An acceptance letter from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
  • A valid passport or travel document.
  • Prove that you have enough money to pay for your own tuition fees, living expenses, and return transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada.
  • Be a law-abiding citizen with no criminal record and not be a risk to the security of Canada. You may have to provide a police certificate.
  • To be in good health, you may need to complete a medical exam.
  • Convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your studies.
